This is a blog inspired by a few posts on ancestry boards of people that were searching for their real ethnicity /origin. They thought they were Greek but they were actually Albanian. And then some opportunistic losers try to hide it by bashing their own race, only to have their last names and history give it away. Kriezis = Albanian name KryeZiu
If your "Greek" last name is Kriezis you are probably Albanian. Your name comes from Krye (head) Ziu (black) or "the blackheaded one." They are still many Albanians named Kryeziu.
